November 5, 2013 by Jaida 1 Comment

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I was the lucky host for this month’s What’s Baking? challenge, and I selected Scones: Sweet or Savory as the theme. Below are all the fantastic recipes that the participants came up with. I can’t wait to try them!

Eva from Eva Bakes whipped up these delicious, over-filled Fresh Apple Cinnamon Scones

Carrie from Carrie’s Sweet life made these delectable looking Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Scones

Joanna from Kosher kitchen made these lovely Cranberry Walnut Scones, perfect for the holiday season!
Nicole of Seven Ate Nine got to use her love of pumpkin flavors in these Pumpkin Spice M&M Scones – yum!

Heather from Hezzi D’s Books and Cooks whipped up these Spiced Pear Scones with Cinnamon Glaze – what a great Fall flavored treat!
Pear scones spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom then drizzled with cinnamon glaze.

Amanda from Our Italian Kitchen made a delicious Rum Raisin Cinnamon Scone – Yum!

Sandra from She Cooks and Bakes also had cinnamon in her scones, with these Cinnamon Crumble Scones.

And finally, I ventured out in the savory scone world with these Zucchini, Asiago and Sun Dried Tomato Scones. They were so delicious!

Of course I have desserts, less healthy and more time-intensive meals as well (everything in moderation!), but all-in-all, you can count on weeknight friendly options, all made with love and dished up with a side of life, love, and family!
