What a whirlwind 2013 was!! Overall it was an amazing year…I lost my sweet Bubba boy which was devastating, but I also met the love of my life and finally bought a house! I have much to be thankful for and 2014 only promises to be better! I hope you all had a blessed holiday season and that 2014 has started off well for you.
After going back through my posts from 2013 there were some recipes that were very popular this year!! Here are the top 10, according to you!
#10: Shredded Jerk Pork Tacos with Caribbean Salsa – one of our favorite tacos this year, by far!
#9: Hot Cocoa Cookies – omgoodness, these cookies!! I’m not a marshmallow fan usually, but these cookies were just too delicious!
#8: Peppermint Popcorn – a minty twist on a traditional favorite snack. Perfect for the holidays!
#7: Mexican Green Cilantro Rice – Cilantro-lime rice is one of my Mexican food favorites, and making it at home was so easy!
#6: Chicken Parmesan Meatballs – Um, I don’t know what else to say about these but YUM!
#5: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Scones – all the breakfast favs wrapped up in a delicious scone – easy for on-the-go breakfasts!
#4: Bite-Size Party Bark – these little desserts were just too cute for the holidays!
#3: Blackened Salmon Kabobs with Lemon Yogurt Sauce – This was probably J’s favorite salmon dish all year! And I got to use my new grill pan!
#2: Pomegranate Margaritas – These margaritas were sooo good! Easy to make with bottled pomegranate juice and great for those winter months!
#1 (by a landslide!): Stuffed Zucchini – WOW were these a hit on Pinterest! And I can totally understand why – they are freaking delicious!!
