If you are looking for the cutest Christmas cookie on the block, look no further than the adorable and delicious peanut butter Reindeer Cookies!

I’ve always been a sucker for a cute holiday-themed cookie, but these Reindeer Cookies, are by far my favorite. Their adorable little faces on a soft peanut butter cookie are almost too cute to eat, but way too delicious not to!

The peanut butter cookie is amazing on it’s own, but then you add chocolate covered pretzels, candy eyes, and a big peanut butter M&M on top, and you have a new Christmas favorite cookie that the kids will certainly love!

As adorable as they are, they are not difficult to make. The hardest part is waiting for them to be done so you can gobble them up!

What do you need to make Reindeer Cookies?

Peanut butter
Brown sugar
Shortening
Milk
Vanilla
Egg
All-purpose flour
Baking soda
Salt
Chocolate covered pretzels
Small eyeball candies
Red peanut butter M&Ms

How to make peanut butter Reindeer Cookies:

Full printable recipe below!

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.

Step 2
Combine peanut butter, brown sugar, shortening, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl or stand mixer. Mix on medium speed until well blended. Add egg and mix until just blended.

Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to peanut butter mixture at mix on low speed until just combined.

Step 4
Using a medium cookie scoop or tablespoon, form dough into 1-inch balls. Gently pinch the bottom of the ball to form a point for the reindeer noses, place on a lined or greased cookie sheet, then gently flatten with your hand. Space cookies about 2 inches apart and bake for 7 to 8 minutes, until set or just beginning to brown.

Step 5
Remove from oven and gently press two mini pretzels into the tops of the cookies for the reindeer’s antlers. Press two eye candies for the eyes and one red M&M for the nose.

Step 6
Allow to cool 2 minutes on the baking sheet and then transfer to a wire rack or paper towel to cool completely.

Would it be weird to make these part of Santa’s cookie plate? Like, he’d be eating the likeness of his beloved reindeer? Orrrr…am I overthinking that fictional scenario? Yeah, probably so. Either way, you need these adorable Reindeer Cookies on your holiday cookie plates this (and every) year!

I love that you used chocolate pretzels for the antlers! What a fun cookie to include on a holiday cookie tray.
