Ingredients

  • 8 oz vanilla almond bark (or white chocolate)
  • 36 mini pretzel twists
  • 64 medium sized candy eyes*

Instructions

  • Cover a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  • In a microwave safe, shallow bowl, melt almond bark or white chocolate according to package instructions. (Usually 60-90 seconds on high, stir, and then heat in 15 second increments until mostly melted. Stir until smooth.)
  • Place pretzels, one at a time, into the melted chocolate and turn or dunk to coat. Use a fork to gently pick up and tap the handle gently on the bowl to knock of excess coating into the bowl. Lay gently on the wax paper, then place an eye candy in each of the top pretzel holes. Repeat with remaining pretzels and candy eyes.
  • Place baking sheet of pretzel ghosts in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to speed up the setting of the coating, then servce or store in an air-tight container until ready to serve, up to a week.

Notes

*I had intended to use the small candy eyes, but they were smaller than the holes in the pretzels and would just fall through, so I used the next size up and they fit pretty perfectly!
