Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place butternut squash and apples in a bowl.
Whisk together olive oil and maple syrup. Drizzle over butternut squash and apple pieces and toss to coat. Spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until squash is tender. Stirring every 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with salt and top with pecan pieces. Serve warm.
