  • Food Processor


  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 jalapeno peppers (seeds removed and coarsely chopped)
  • 15- oz can chickpeas (garbazo beans) (drained)
  • 2 Tbsp tahini
  • juice of 1 1/2 limes
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 tsp salt


  • Add garlic and jalapenos to food process, and process until finely diced.
  • Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
  • Serve with veggies, pita bread, crackers, etc.
