  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2. tsp shortening

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
  • Mix butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Add egg, orange juice and zest and mix until combined.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix on low until dough forms.
  • Stir in cranberries and spread dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Remove and cool completely.
  • Add white chocolate chips and shortening to a medium bowl and melt in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir, and heat an additional 15 seconds. Stir until completely melted.
  • Cut bars 4 x 4 to make 16 bars, and use a piping bag or spoon to drizzle the melted chocolate over the tops. Serve or store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week.
