Happy Friday…the 13th! I know a lot of people are superstitious and view Friday the 13th as a bad day, but I am not one of those people. I just view it as a day that comes around every so often, and gives people something to talk about. Ha. I’ll tell you that after this very odd week, I have been looking forward to Friday – 13th or not – since Monday. The toddler has given me quite the run for my money this week. Sleep regression spurred by separation anxiety, which led to climbing over and falling out of her crib – NOT my idea of a fun time. Said crib mattress is now on the floor so that problem is solved…the sleep regression and separation anxiety we are working on. Daddy putting her to bed last night instead of me seemed to work better. So, we will likely continue that routine until we’ve gotten through this phase. Hopefully it doesn’t last long. Mama is tired!
But tired or not, the days keep coming and all the things still need to be done. Menu planning, included! So, here is our menu plan for next week!
Sunday – Venison Steak Diane, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli
Monday – Grilled Chicken, Blueberry and Nectarine Salad with Avocado Citrus Vinaigrette
Tuesday – Pulled Pork Taco
Wednesday – Spicy Fish Taco Bowls with Mango Pico
Thursday – Slow Cooker Tater Tot Casserole
Friday – Chili Lime Chicken Wonton Tacos
Saturday – Jalapeno marinated pork kabobs, ranch style beans (moved from the past week, because we went out of town)
