Hi friends! How is your January going? Fast and furious over here and the weather here in Texas, as usual, is all over the place. Does the weather influence your menu planning and cravings like it does mine?
I find it to be a little frustrating when I plan cold-weather meals, and then it winds up being in the 70s. Come ON Mother Nature, it’s January. Let’s move on from the rollercoaster of temperatures and just stay steady in the cooler range, ‘k?
Despite the inconsistent weather, I’ve really enjoyed working on the January menu planning, and adding soups back into the weekly rotation. Isn’t it great to have soup cooking on a Saturday or Sunday, filling the house with all the yummy smells, and then getting to enjoy a big bowl at the end of the day? I just love that. And this week is no exception! I’m giving an old soup recipe and update, as I have been doing wiht a lot of recipes lately.
Take a look at the Januar week 3 menu plan for some inspiration!
