Happy Sunday, friends! Today we will be heading home from our long weekend at the beach. It’s also my birthday. My last year as a 30-something. I feel like I should feel some way about that, but really…I don’t. I’ve never been the type to freak out about getting older. It’s just…what happens.
What I’m more focused on and excited about is baby girl’s 3rd birthday party coming up in 6 days!! I’m not a big celebrator of my own birthday, but I love to plan parties for my baby girl. Because that is what my week will mainly be focused on, I tried to menu plan meals that would be quick and easy. And you know, less mess to clean up after every night.
I’ll be sure to share pics from the party, and the food/menu, of course! Unicorn-themed!
Sunday – Grilled Chicken Quarters, Ranch Style Beans, Pesto Veggie Skewers
Monday – Slow Cooker Venison Tenderloins with Gravy, Brown Rice, Cornmeal Crusted Okra
Tuesday – Black Bean & Sweet Potato Tacos
Wednesday – Blackened Salmon Kabobs with Yogurt Sauce
Thursday – Oven Fried Chicken with Spicy Honey Drizzle
Friday – Something easy peasy with minimal cleanup required!! (pizza or sammiches or the like)
Saturday – Baby Girl’s Unicorn Birthday Party!! (And we’ll likely eat the leftovers for dinner.)
