Sparkling Basil Lemonade is a spruced-up version of the beloved summer beverage. A hint of basil and a little bit of bubbly make this a delicious and fun drink for everyone!
The summer heat will be here before we know it and there is nothing better on a hot summer day than a refreshing glass of ice cold lemonade. Well, nothing besides this Sparkling Basil Lemonade, that is! Now, you may be thinking that basil is a weird thing to add to sweet and tart lemonade – and I had that thought myself – BUT, it actually just adds to the refreshing flavor, and it isn’t overpowering, at all.
Think of it as a sophisticated twist on a childhood favorite, but even the kids love it! Oh, and we can’t forget the bubbles! The fizzy effect of the club soda just makes your taste buds dance a bit. And, if you’re over 21 and wanted to adult it up a little more, add a bit of vodka to your glass and you’re set. But it’s so good on it’s own, it doesn’t need it!

This definitely looks interesting. I’ve always made tea with my leftover leaves but this drink sounds amazing for summer! Thanks for sharing it.
