Italian Turkey Sausage Chili Dogs – and a Giveaway!!

July 6, 2012 by Jaida 10 Comments

I was recently contacted by a representative of Jennie-O, and offered to try a few of their products (of my choice), as well as coupons to give two lucky readers!! I have been trying to incorporate more healthy products into my diet, and turkey is definitely more healthy! Jennie-O has a variety of products, so I had a bit of a dilemma choosing which ones to try first! But, I decided to try something different than just ground turkey. I purchased Hot Italian Turkey Sausages, Turkey Breakfast Sausages, and Lean Ground Turkey.

Since it was 4th of July, I decided to try a new version of chili dogs, using the Italian Sausages, and the Ground Turkey to make Turkey Chili. And, I must say…that was a pretty good idea to try! The chili and the sausage go really well together, and since these are hot sausages, there’s a nice kick to it too. And you  know I like a little kick in my food!! I am definitely a fan, and will be finding other ways to use the Italian Turkey Sausage, too! There are numerous recipes on the Jennie-O website, and I found a few on there to try as well, but since this 4th of July weekend is sure to be one of grilling, I figured this should be the first one I share with you!!

And, not to forget the giveaway!! Two lucky winners will each receive $30 each in Jennie-O coupons so that they can try out their great products as well! One entry per person. Please make sure you enter a valid email address when creating your post, so that I can contact you if you win!! The winners will be contacted by email, as well as announced on the blog, and will have 5 days to reply or another winner will be selected.

To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post answering the question:

What Jennie-O product (or recipe) would you would like to try?

The fine print:
– Maximum of 1 entry per person.
– Giveaway ends at 11:59pm (CST!) July 12, 2012.
– Winners will be selected by a random number generator and announced on this post and contacted by email after selected.
– Two winners will each receive six $5 off coupons good towards any Jennie-O products.
– Prize must be claimed within 5 days or it will be forfeited.
– Prize can only be shipped to a US address.
– All prizes are provided by Jennie-O Turkey Store.

And the winners are…..

I love your sandwiches, they look delish! I would try Jennie-O deli meats, but I live in Canada and don't qualify for this giveaway :(.
