If you’re a fan of chicken wings, then these Grilled Chicken Wings, prepared three delicious ways are definitely what you need at your next BBQ!
This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BBQWeek. The sponsors, Rainier Foods and Intensity Academy, generously provided samples to participants to aid in the creation of the #BBQWeek recipes and prize packages to give away to the readers. However, all opinions are mine alone.
I’ve had chicken wings plenty of times in my life…regular and boneless. With sauces ranging from mild to super hot, and a few with dry rub seasonings. Fried and baked. And they’ve all been delicious. But until this recipe, I’d never had them grilled (and I still haven’t had them smoked), so I decided to change that. Deelicious, my friends. You get the nice crisp skin with some pretty grill marks, and TONS of flavor from the sauces. Grilled chicken wings are now right up there with baked on the favorites list.
Grilling the wings, much like baking them, is easier than frying (i.e. less steps and mess) and a healthier option too. But you don’t sacrifice flavor or texture in the process. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some good fried foods, but I also love when I can make something just as tasty without all the grease – ha!

How to make Grilled Chicken Wings
Full printable recipe card below!
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil then lay out on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat grill to ~325 degrees. Place wings in a single layer and not touching. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then gently flip over. Cook an additional 5-7 minutes or until cooked through (165 degrees F).
- Once done, divide into three bowls (I had about 5 in each bowl). In the first bowl pour 1/4 – 1/3 cup of Garlic Goodness sauce and toss to coat. With the second bowl, toss with the Carrot Karma Hot Sauce. With the final bowl, add parmesan and chopped garlic and toss to coat. Remove wings from all three bowls to a serving platter or plate using a pair of clean tongs. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with ranch or blue cheese for dipping, if desired!

And let me tell you, friends…these sauces are AMAZING!! When I first received them, I was unsure how the carrot one was going to work out, but they are both so, so good!! I can’t wait to use them both again – either for more wings, or in a different recipe.
