Cranberry Almond Broccoli Salad

This Cranberry Almond Broccoli Salad with a creamy citrus dressing is bright and crunchy with a sweet and tart dressing that will want to make for all your potlucks and backyard barbecues!

There are so many delicious side dishes to serve at barbecues, sometimes it’s hard to choose. But one side dish that I can always count on being a big hit, is broccoli salad. I’ve made a few variations at this point, like my Broccoli Apple Salad and Strawberry Broccoli Salad, so I decided to add another one to my arsenal with this Cranberry Almond Broccoli Salad.

It has everything that you love about broccoli salad, and then some. Crunchy broccoli, cubes of cheddar cheese, bacon, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, pumpkin seeds, and then to top it all off, a creamy citrus dressing that is to die for. You will want this broccoli salad at every get together you have this summer!

What it takes to make Cranberry Almond Broccoli Salad

  • Broccoli florets
  • Bacon
  • Dried cranberries
  • Sliced almonds
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Cheddar cheese cubes

For the Creamy Citrus Dressing:

  • Vanilla or Honey Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Dijon mustard
  • Lemon zest
  • Orange zest
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

How to make Cranberry Almond Broccoli Salad

  1. In a large bowl combine broccoli, bacon, dried cranberries, almonds, sunflower seeds and cheese cubes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, vinegar, mustard, zest, juice, salt and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon the dressing into the bowl with the broccoli mixture and stir or toss to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve, and enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cubes

For the Creamy Citrus Dressing:

  • ½ cup Vanilla or Honey Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp orange zest
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine broccoli, bacon, dried cranberries, almonds, sunflower seeds and cheese cubes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, vinegar, mustard, zest, juice, salt and pepper until smooth.
